Description: Rosehill Memorial Park came into existence in 1890, marked by a thoughtful payment of $220.00 to secure the first few acres from John Wood. The earliest recorded burial on September 22, 1888, belongs to Reverend J. Henz and rests in the St. Leo's section of the cemetery. In the 1960s, this historic Catholic Section was incorporated into the original City of Minot cemetery grounds, with the transfer of ownership for a mere $1.00. Presently, Rosehill Memorial Park has served as the final resting place for 21,826 individuals, and more than 250 burials are conducted annually.
