Description: Lake Charles Veterans Memorial Park can be found to the south of Interstate 10, situated along the Lakeshore Drive boardwalk near the Lake Charles Civic Center. Within the park, you'll encounter vibrant representations of the five branches of the Armed Forces, showcased through engraved bricks that commemorate the service of individuals since World War I. Additionally, a remarkable exhibit featuring a Patton Tank from World War II is on prominent display. As you explore the park, you'll come across fragments of concrete that were salvaged from the North Tower of the World Trade Center, accompanied by a plaque that pays tribute to the lives lost on September 11, 2001.
