Description: The sculpture known as the Global Convergence is a tribute to the immense variety present on our planet. The aluminum patterns embedded within the sculpture serve as a canvas for vibrant colored panels, which beautifully present a group of Shoal Bass fish swimming in a blue-toned environment inside the representation of the globe. When night falls, the sculpture transforms, gaining an extra layer of depth as it harmoniously interacts with an array of lights. This mesmerizing display highlights 31 distinct species of freshwater fish that inhabit Florida's rivers and streams, some of which are uncommon, facing threats, or on the brink of extinction. Controlled by a programmed LED lighting system, the sculpture ingeniously mirrors the changes in freshwater environments across the region's four seasons.
