Description: The sculpture is part of the Centre Square Plaza near Philadelphia City Hall. Created by sculptor Jacob Epstein, it depicts the characters Little Nell and her grandfather from Charles Dickens' novel "The Old Curiosity Shop." The sculpture was donated to the city by philanthropist George Gund in 1983 and serves as a tribute to Dickens and his literary legacy.
