Description: Strolling down the mile-long path, you'll encounter an array of eccentric structures, many of which appear to be constructed primarily from discovered materials. While it may initially appear to be a haphazard collection, there is a narrative woven into this peculiar open-air art exhibit. Guru Road, the brainchild of DeWayne "Doobie" Williams, took shape over the course of the '80s and '90s. Williams, who was battling cancer, dedicated the final 15 years of his life to crafting this unique creation. He skillfully used locally sourced stones and assorted desert findings to fashion numerous expansive and intricately designed pieces.
