Description: In 2004, the Store underwent a remarkable transformation. What was once a quintessential New England general store has since evolved into a vibrant Cafe and Coffee Bar, equipped with seating for up to 30 patrons and a daily food service. Furthermore, it operates as a retail establishment offering an exquisite array of fine groceries, a diverse selection of international cheeses and cured meats, wines, beers, spirits, kitchen and tableware items, as well as an assortment of thoughtful gifts. Today, ownership and operation of the Store are in the capable hands of Peter Platt and Meredith Kennard. It continues to function as a welcoming café, serving breakfast, lunch, and during the summer season, dinner from Thursday through Sunday. Notably, Peter and Meredith also own the Old Inn On The Green, where Peter showcases his culinary talents as the chef.
