Description: The store, originally constructed in 1902, was established by J. M. Harper, the great-grandfather of the present owner. J. M.'s son, D. C. Harper, managed the store from 1915 to 1962. During his tenure, D. C. expanded the business to include a Ford dealership, selling Ford Model T's and Ford farm equipment. Additionally, the store once housed a Post Office. Bardon "Buck" Harper then assumed ownership and operated the store from 1962 to 1984.
