Description: Weaver's Mill Covered Bridge, located in East Earl Township, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, spans the Conestoga River and is an example of a single-span, wooden, double Burr arch truss bridge. Built in 1878 by B.C. Carter and J.F. Stauffer, the bridge is 85 feet long and 15 feet wide. It is also known as Isaac Shearer's Mill Bridge and is surrounded by picturesque agricultural land, typical of Lancaster County's scenic beauty. The bridge, which is still in use, features large stone entryways and a distinctive traditional red color with white approaches.
