Description: Bitzer's Mill Covered Bridge, also known as Martin's Mill Bridge, Eberly's Cider Mill Covered Bridge, and Fiand's/Fiantz's Covered Bridge, spans the Conestoga River in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. Built in 1846 by George Fink and Sam Reamsnyder at a cost of $1,115, it features a single-span, wooden, double Burr arch truss design with added steel hanger rods and secondary steel I-beams for support. It is the oldest bridge in the county still in use and is painted red on the outside with traditional white-painted approaches. The bridge, which measures approximately 120 feet in length and 15 feet in width, was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1980. It has faced various damages and repairs over the years but remains a significant historical structure
