Description: In Tullahoma, Tennessee, artist Steve Smith has created six replica Moai statues, inspired by the iconic monoliths of Easter Island. These statues stand prominently along the CSX railroad tracks at 103 Marbury Road, offering a unique roadside attraction for visitors. Smith began this project by crafting small garden sculptures and gradually progressed to these larger installations, each taking about a week to complete. The statues have become a local landmark, attracting up to 30 visitors daily, including families who enjoy the interactive photo opportunity provided by one of the sculptures. Smith plans to expand the exhibit with a seventh statue and additional informational displays about the Moai and the Rapa Nui people.
