Description: Watch the sunrise from the east coast of Washington Island. The lake seems to go on forever. The summer breeze of the lake is a wonderful way to cool down on a hot summer day. The twisties aren't too bad either! This is part of the Washington Island Circle Tour. (Not an official route, as far as I know) It's a great summer ride. The Island wasn't too crowded over the summer. Watch for the Icelandic Ponies on trail rides in the center of the Island. The woods are thick around some of the coastline, so the view of the water and cool breeze can be a bit obscured. But, it's well worth the trip for the ride.
