Description: Our next stop is Dragot Cliff - a point from which you can have a stunning view of the Northern Dead Sea. Dragot Cliff, also known as Metzoke Dragot, is a hidden gem on the northern part of the Dead Sea. It’s like finding that secret twisty road that only locals know about—a motorcyclist’s dream. Untamed Beauty: Although we are more interested in the cliff, Dragot also has a beach. Imagine riding along the salty shore, surrounded by dramatic cliffs and the shimmering waters of the Dead Sea. The landscape is raw, rugged, and utterly captivating. Diverse Crowd: At Dragot Cliffs, you’ll encounter a fascinating mix of folks: nude hippies, curious tourists, adventurous families, and even Palestinians. It’s a melting pot of humanity against the backdrop of ancient cliffs. No Frills: Forget sun loungers and beach umbrellas. This place is all about authenticity. Pack your own gear—water, sunscreen, and a sense of adventure. Oh, and did I mention there’s a freshwater spring hidden among the trees? Perfect for rinsing off that salty Dead Sea residue. Starry Nights: Picture this: camping under the vast desert sky, with the Jordanian mountains across the water. It’s a celestial symphony—the hum of your motorcycle engine blending with the whispers of history... The place is also the home of some nice lodging options at the top of the cliff (which, I believe, are too early to use, unless you are planning to stay some days in the area), some cafes and restaurants, and even one winery. But the best thing to do there is walk and see the view, and there are some trails for walking and maybe riding. Depending on how much you like to walk around, you can stay in the area from 15 minutes to 2 hours. Take this into account when you plan your day.
